The Super-Murals, Greater Entities from the beyond…
Eons from now, they are defeated and exiled by their nemesis, the Extra-Murals. As a part of the fallout, the Universe loses its advanced technological abilities.
Billions of years further along - The Book of Light, a manifesto put forth by the Super-Murals, is found. This Book was the one hope to revitalize a forgotten way of life.
Much later, as the Universe gets even colder and sentient life has evolved further, a being named Digger has a Vision.
Digger sees impending doom for trillions of lives, and the collapse of a revived Empire. But, there is a way out! A farm girl named Vega is to become queen. Only she can lead the battle against the nefarious Extra-Murals who threaten the existence of all that we know. The execution of the plan towards this vision also brings forth the return of the Nomads, creators of the Visceral Empire, quasi-immortal representatives of The Super-Murals. Felix, a man displaced in time, and forced to go down a path he never chose, is given the ability to use his mind for entrancement and control. Felix is the bridge to show Vega that she is meant to be queen.
They are guided by Arch-Pivot Nambu, an advanced animal/machine composite sentient, also accompanied by Pinch, an inter-galactic bounty hunter.
Vega and Digger along with this unlikely team, set out to battle evil and to save life across the Universe.
Together, they defend our existence.
State/Craft: Earth @ Stake is a tech-heavy action packed story, set mostly in twenty-second century California. The earth is infested with alien invaders. We are at war, our side fighting for survival and theirs for gain, with the Earth at Stake.
So what is going on? The enemy aliens are gaining control of machines, abusing them to take us down. We have our representative superheroes fighting on our behalf. The necessary powers are bestowed upon them by a visiting benefactor who takes them on an intergalactic round trip to boost them up. In exchange for the powers gained, they end up paying a heavy price, of extreme personal sacrifice.
It doesn’t stop here though. We’re just getting started!
