It was an out of this world experience!” This was how the girls at the senior year in the local high school described their recent encounter with dead people’s souls whilst playing ‘Spirit of the Glass’, a popular horror board game played mostly by young people in the Philippines in the 1980s.
Ysabelle and her friends could not resist the excitement waiting for them in that ‘out of this world experience’ so they decided to also try the famous game.
As the lights were turned off, the dark and eerie evening promised a thrilling experience with the unknown.
However hard they tried to conceal their fear it showed in their eyes as it slowly crept in while they were all waiting in total silence. There was no turning back as their call for an adventurous evening had already reached a restless soul and sooner than they realised he was already in the midst of them all.
Little did they all know that the spirit of a young man, who answered their call on that dreamy night, would become Ysabelle’s regular nightmare.
For this stray being, there weren’t boundaries to love, and surely would not take no for an answer.
...and the whole ‘out of this world experience’ would reveal itself before Ysabelle’s very eyes.
