A man-eating Lion is on the loose, terrorizing villages along the foothills of northern Kenya. One-by-one, chosen Maasai warriors are sent out to track and destroy the beast, only to meet with tragic consequences. In desperation, one village chooses a legendary yet reluctant older warrior. The pursuit is filled with twists and turns as the reader witnesses the hunt through the perspective of both lion and hunter.
