After graduating with honors from Duquesne University and the University of Michigan Law School, Tom Peters made partner at a large international law firm, retiring a little earlier than most. Tom has placed two e-book novels with publishers and has self-published a series of novels spoofing the thriller genre that have sold over 70,000 copies.
Mike Talbert is tasked by his boss Casey Brook with devising a scheme to deep-six an incriminating draft email from the personal computer of a prominent politician with presidential ambitions without risking charges of evidence tampering or obstruction of justice. Never one to let ethics or the law get in the way of his ambitions, Mike comes up with a plan to enlist professional thieves to steal the computer without advising his client in advance so as to make the theft look as authentic as possible. The plan works better than Mike or his boss could have expected, but complications arise when the women in their lives turn on them in unexpected ways.
