David M. Mannes is a multi-genre fiction writer. He is the author of A Walk on the Strange Side, The Cantor’s Son, as well as the Damien Wynter Majic-12 espionage/sci-fy series; Kingsley and Buck western series. He is a Cantor-Educator, and former teacher and educational writer/ film producer-director. David was nominated in 1990 for best non-dramatic script in the Alberta Motion Picture Industry Association (A.M.P.I.A.) awards for his script “Writing-on-Stone” featuring actor Leslie Neilson which he co-produced for Alberta Parks. David has had a long time interest in UFOs, the paranormal and unexplained phenomena. Mr. Mannes is married and lives in Edmonton, Alberta.
